Borboshield originated from Borbotech, a company that has existed since 2012 and is specialized in cleaning sprinkler systems. Cleaning takes place when a sprinkler system does not meet the requirements due to excessive corrosion and therefore often has a reduced passage. We remove corrosion with ultra-high water pressure, so that the systems function optimally again.
Our expertise in PFAS cleaning
Due to the foam transition, there is an increasing need for effective cleaning of pipes, vehicles, tanks and soil that are contaminated by PFAS. As an independent company, Borboshield helps companies with the transition to fluorine-free foam. During this transition, it is required that material and soil are cleaned very well.
Why is PFAS cleaning important?
Research shows that cleaning pipes, tanks or vehicles by just flushing is not enough to completely remove PFAS. Rebound can occur. This means that residual PFAS in the pores of the steel ends up back in the water of the system. As a result, the limit value will quickly be exceeded again.
Cooperation
Borboshield works together with the Swedish company Lifeclean . Lifeclean has designed a cleaning method to effectively eliminate PFAS. Their innovative cleaning method has been tested: after one year there has been no measurable rebound. Borboshield and Lifeclean are partners for the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
